The proof is in the pudding, so here’s an example of what happened during a demo of our new platform to a head of sales at a major rights holder relating to sustainable companies
We told him that if his team was struggling to quickly find leads and inspiration for who to target, we can do just that, saving his team hours/days doing so.
He said: “prove it”.
“Find me companies, mostly B2B, with a strong sustainability angle related to the UK BUT ‘avoid the usual suspects’.”
Gauntlet duly thrown – in less than 3 minutes, he got these:
1. Huhtamaki Fibre Foodservice: the Finnish-based provider of sustainable packaging solutions is expanding its global presence by launching a new fibre lid production facility in the UK and Ireland. This expansion aims to meet the increasing demand for sustainable packaging solutions in the region and strengthens Huhtamaki’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The new facility will enhance the company’s ability to design, develop, and deliver sustainable fibre packaging solutions for customers, complementing existing production sites in Germany, Holland, and the USA, and boosting global capacity and footprint in smooth molded fiber products.
2. Sumitomo Forestry: a Japan-based manufacturer of wood products, is expanding into the UK’s wooden office building renovation market. It’s first project, Golden Lane in London, involves renovating a five-story building, adding two stories with mass timber. This expansion aims to reduce carbon emissions and offer eco-friendly workspaces. Bywater SFC, a Sumitomo Forestry Group company, is leading the development, marking its entry into the UK market.
3. Sunswap: a British engineering company specializing in zero-emission cold chain solutions, has expanded its manufacturing facility in Surrey, UK. This expansion is driven by increased demand for their Endurance transport refrigeration units from UK and European customers. The new facility allows for in-house production, improved quality control, and scalability to meet growing demand as Sunswap expands into Europe. This investment has created 75 new manufacturing jobs and signifies Sunswap’s commitment to British manufacturing and engineering.
4. Triodos Bank UK: a certified B Corporation, has appointed Mark Clayton as its new CEO to strengthen Triodos’ position as a leading ethical and sustainable bank, driving growth and expanding its impact on the UK financial landscape. Clayton’s previous positions include CEO of the UK and Ireland divisions of Credit Suisse and various senior roles at Barclays.
5. Greensleeves: a lawn treatment provider, has launched a new coated organo-mineral fertiliser designed for environmentally conscious homeowners. It enhances nitrogen use, minimizes environmental impact, and is pet- and child-safe. Successful trials by franchisees last autumn demonstrated improved lawn health and color. The launch reflects Greensleeves’ commitment to sustainable practices and providing eco-friendly solutions..
